Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation shortly, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry announced on Wednesday evening.
The state-owned Pakistan Television (PTV) will telecast an important message of the Prime Minister at 7:45 pm PST, PM office said.
The prime minister will take the nation into confidence over his scheduled visit to China, from November 1 to Nov 5, on the invitation of the Chinese leadership. This is PM Imran Khan’s first official visit to China after assuming office.
A high-level delegation, including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, will accompany the prime minister.
Moreover, the premier will appeal to the nation to remain calm in the wake of massive protests against the release of Asia Bibi, who was accused of committing blasphemy in June 2009.
